Bed & Breakfast

Bed & Breakfasts usually operate out of a large single family residence where guests can be accommodated in private bedrooms (may or may not be equipped with private bathroom facilities) either in the main house or in a separate building designed for this specific purpose. Breakfast is a component of the daily tariff and is provided either in the form of daily provisions or it is prepared by the host for the guest.

Benambra was built as a guesthouse in the late 1870's and has been the holiday place of many families for over 130 years. Benambra Cottage is even older and was once a fisherman's cottage.

Carisbrook Cottage is a self catering Bed & Breakfast situated in the heart of Queenscliff, opposite the legendary 'Blues Train' / historic steam train station, central shopping centre, beaches, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, and historical museum and within walking distance of the Queenscliff- Sorrento ferry terminal, Fort Museum and Maritime Museum.

The cottage is self contained, queen size bed in main main room, two single beds in second room with option for cot or fold up bed for thrid child under 12 yo.

There is gas or electric heating for winter, ceiling fans or air conditioner for summer.

We have a small garden area including a B-B-Q and outdoor setting. Facilities included are: TV /Stereo / DVD player, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen, light breakfast making requirements, linen and towels supplied.

Cottage is situated at back of our property. Previous guests have said it is quiet, relaxing, comfortable and clean family or adult seaside getaway.
