Queenscliff Train

Based in Queenscliff, The Bellarine Railway offers visitors a unique opportunity to travel on a collection of lovingly-restored heritage trains originating from every state in Australia.

Setting off from Queenscliff, our collection of locomotives and carriages hug the serene waters of Swan Bay, travelling 16.5km through the peaceful rolling hills of the Bellarine Peninsula to Drysdale.

The whole family can enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of a bygone era of travel. Both Queenscliff and Drysdale railway stations sell drinks and snacks along with a range of railway souvenirs. Drysdale station also boasts a museum room with various railway artefacts and memorabilia. The Bellarine Railway provides a great, fun-filled day out for people of all ages.

See our website for a complete list of scheduled services, train charter options, steam and diesel train driver experience packages and special programs, such as our Day Out With Thomas (the tank engine) events.
