The Borough of Queenscliffe Aged Care and Disability Service provides a range of services for frail, older people, people with disabilities living within the Borough, and their carers.

This includes:

  • Escorted shopping assistance under the HACC program for eligible clients with a Community Care Worker.
  • Escorted transport for medical and allied health appointments by arrangement when no other option is available. (costs involved)

Rehabilitation Low Vision Group

From Geelong Railway Station this service operates via Railway Terrace, Mercer Street, Malop Street, Yarra Street, Little Malop Street, Bellarine Street, Ryrie Street to Geelong Hospital. From Geelong Hospital bus operates via Sydney Parade, Ormond Road, Bellarine Highway, Fellows Road, Ocean Road, Point Lonsdale Road, Bellarine Highway, Hesse Street to Ferry Terminal.

Queenscliff & Pt Lonsdale to Geelong

From Queenscliff Ferry Terminal Route 75 operates via Hesse Street, Bellarine Highway, Point Lonsdale Road, Ocean Road, Fellows Road, Bellarine Highway, Ormond Road and Sydney Parade to Geelong Hospital. From Geelong Hospital bus operates via Ryrie Street, Bellerine Street, Little Malop Street, Yarra Street, Malop Street, Mercer Street and Railway Terrace to Geelong Railway Station.

Route 76 Buses operate via Ocean Grove.

Sorrento to Queenscliff

The car and passenger ferry services connecting the Bellarine Peninsula and the great Ocean Road to the Mornington Peninsula and Phillip Island, the 40 minute crossing is a stress free alternative to driving through the city, saving you time and kilometres.

Whether you travel with your car or as a foot passenger to explore the villages of Queenscliff and Sorrento, there is much to see on the crossing - spectacular coastline, mighty ships and maybe a dolphin or two. Or perhaps you'd rather be sipping coffee, enjoying a foccaccia or slurping an ice cream from the onboard kiosk.

Getting there is half the fun.

from SORRENTO on the hour every hour from 7am to 6pm.

from QUEENSCLIFF on the hour every hour 7am 6pm

An extra 7pm trip operates from December 26 till the end of daylight saving.

*Please note that the MV Queenscliff does not have a lift
