2018 Mental Health Week Art Competition
Mental Health Foundation Australia is inviting artists to submit original works for the 2018 Mental Health Week Consumer Art Competition.
The Consumer Art Competition aims to support community involvement of people living with mental illness. Artists are invited to submit up to two original works using media including painting, drawing, mosaic, photography and computerised images. Judges are looking for works with a positive message about mental health, and all artworks must be suitable for photographic reproduction and hanging for exhibition.
The Consumer Art Competition is part of this year’s Mental Health Month that will run from Sunday 7 October 2018 until Tuesday 6 November 2018. The winning work will be awarded at the launch of Mental Health Month on Monday 8 October 2018, and will feature on Mental Health Month 2018 posters that will be distributed throughout Victoria.
Submissions are due by 5.00pm on 18 May 2018. To find out more, read the terms and conditions of entry and complete your entry form, head over to the Consumer Art Competition page of Mental Health Foundation Australia’s website, www.mhfa.org.au/CMS/consumer-art-competition.
