Destination Queenscliff – Have Your Say

Draft concept plans for Council’s Destination Queenscliff project have been released and demonstrate how the project will ensure that the precinct made up of Shortland’s Bluff, Fort Queenscliff and Ocean View is recognised as one of the most magnificent coastal locations in Victoria.

“We are very excited about the concept plans for Destination Queenscliff,” said Borough of Queenscliffe Mayor, Cr Susan Salter.

Members of the public are warmly invited to have their say as community consultation on the draft concept plans commences.

The draft concept plans can be viewed on the Borough of Queenscliffe website,, and will be on display at Council’s upcoming Community Open House Sessions at the Queenscliff RSL Hall.

“All the Councillors are looking forward to sharing the concept plans with the community and taking the next steps in the implementation of this project.”

An online survey is available on the Borough of Queenscliffe website,, to capture community feedback. Hard copies of the survey can be downloaded from Council’s website and picked up at Council’s offices at 50 Learmonth Street, Queenscliff.

Written feedback submissions to share ideas, suggestions and support for the Destination Queenscliff project are also very welcome.

Community feedback about Destination Queenscliff is invited until 4.00pm on Friday 15 June 2018.

The Destination Queenscliff Community Open House Sessions will be held on the following days:

  • Thursday 24 May 2018 from 2.00pm to 5.00pm
  • Saturday 26 May 2018 from 2.30pm to 5.30pm
  • Thursday 31 May 2018 from 2.00pm to 5.00pm
  • Saturday 2 June 2018 from 9.00am to 12.00 noon

Members of the community are welcome to drop in at any time during these sessions.
