Cr Susan Salter, Mayor

Cr Susan Salter was elected Mayor for a one-year term at the Ordinary Meeting of Council on Thursday 23 November 2017. 

Cr Salter was elected to Council in October 2012 and re-elected for a second term in October 2016.

In her acceptance speech Cr Salter spoke of her long term connections within the local community.

“I would like to thank the residents of the Borough for re-electing me last year and trusting me to serve the community,” said Cr Salter.

“I look forward to working with everyone in the year to come.”

Cr Salter has lived in Queenscliff for nearly 30 years and has been actively involved in a number of community organisations, book groups and community groups. She is a retired maths teacher and is known to many community members thorough her various roles at the Bellarine Secondary College.

Mayor's Column
