Local Laws – Local Law No.1 (2000).

Local Law No 1, 2000 came into effect on 4 January 2001.
In accordance with the Local Government Act 1989 Council is to undertake a review of its Local Law every four years.

Prohibited Activities

Below are some of the activities that are prohibited in the Borough.
• Hawking and Peddling.
• Consumption of alcohol in public without a permit.
• Use of skateboards, blade or roller skates, scooters or similar recreational device in shopping area.
• Camping in a public place, this includes sleeping in vehicles.
