A generic Local Law permit application is required for conducting any of, but not limited to, the following activities:

  • Itinerant trading (mobile or temporary business)
  • Selling or hiring, or offering for sale or hire, goods or service
  • Selling raffle or lottery tickets
  • Street appeals
  • Singing, playing a musical instrument, delivering a public address, or using sound-amplifying equipment on public land
  • Holding a garage sale.
